Terms of service for online zoom sessions.

When we meet online through Zoom or over the phone, all participants should know that:

  • While all steps are taken to use passwords and individually generated meeting IDs, internet programs are not guaranteed to be secure. Please review Zoom’s security page: https://zoom.us/docs/en-us/privacy-and-security.html. We are not responsible or liable for compromised Zoom communication between you and your counsellor.

  • All sessions are treated like an in-person appointment. No third parties will be in or near the session without the participant or counsellor's knowledge.

  • If the Zoom link or the phone call is disrupted, your counsellor will attempt to reconnect. If reconnection cannot reoccur due to technical problems on our side, your counsellor will either continue the session via telephone or aim to reschedule the session at no additional fee. 

Confidentiality and privacy

Kindly keep in mind that recording our online session without prior discussion with your practitioner violates the confidentiality agreement we discussed in the consent form, and could lead to termination of your service use.
